Made from individual pieces of high-quality 100% polyester fabric, Pleats Please garments are innovative in their process: the dresses are first cut and sewn from fabric that is almost three times larger than the finished item, then inserted between sheets of paper and fed manually into a pleating machine.
From sheath dresses to cardigans, skirts, shirts, or waist-elastic trousers: the garments emerge with permanent pleats.
This industrial process allows both texture and form to be created at once.
Vertical pleats are used to create a variety of effects and architectural shapes.
Pleats Please garments are highly functional and practical; they store easily, travel well, do not require ironing, and can be machine-washed and air-dried in a few hours.
