For sale a refined and elegant pique-fleur (flower holder / centerpiece) vintage in silver-plated metal, part of the famous Gallia collection produced by Christofle (France).
This charming antique piece combines the craftsmanship and quality of the historic French manufactury with extraordinary decorative functionality.
It consists of a smooth circular base, equipped with decorative feet and sculpted side handles, topped by a removable richly perforated lid (grille) finished with a central knob.
Use: Originally designed as a centerpiece planter to arrange stems of fresh flowers (keeping them in place), it now also serves perfectly as an elegant container for potpourri or as an exclusive collectible piece for lovers of French silverware.
