Beautiful Orthodox icon composed of four panels depicting Christ Pantocrator surrounded by several saints and sacred figures. The decoration features a rich ornamental gold background engraved and painted, with geometric frames and polychrome floral motifs typical of certain popular Russian productions of the 19th century.
The blessing Christ holds a scroll inscribed in Cyrillic. The halos are finely radiating and the backgrounds delicately punched, giving a striking decorative presence to the whole.
Authentic work of domestic devotion, executed in egg tempera on a wooden panel.
