Accompanied by its authentic original dating from Rome, April 20, 1921, issued by the Congregation of the Passionists and signed by the Superior General, with a dry seal.
Saint Gabriel of the Gloomy (1838–1862) is an Italian Passionist religious, famous for his intense devotion to the Virgin of Sorrows. Dying very young, he quickly became a major figure of popular piety and was canonized in 1920. He is today considered a model of purity and fervor for Catholic youth.
