Marples & Co - Sugar and cream set (3) - Silverplated - Edwardian Set

This elegant Edwardian silver-plated cream jug and sugar bowl set, complete with its original matching stand, was produced by Marples & Co. of Sheffield and dates to circa 1905–1915. Displaying graceful Art Nouveau influences, the set features a beautifully designed wirework stand and attractively scalloped rims, combining functionality with refined early 20th-century design.
Both the cream jug and sugar bowl retain a bright, well-preserved silver-plated finish and present in excellent condition, with only light signs of age and careful use consistent with their period. The original stand remains equally well preserved, making this a complete and increasingly desirable set, as examples retaining all original components are becoming less common.
