Description from the seller
Märklin H0 — 76500 Gantry Crane with Digital Operating Functions
Unused, never operated on a layout. This item has been in a private collection since first purchase and has remained untouched in its original factory‑fitted foam cradle. To preserve the integrity of this precisely formed foam packaging, the model has not been removed from its foam protector cradle. The photos clearly show the protective foam and presentation exactly as it left the factory while kept in storage until now. To prepare for this listing, it is removed from its foam protective cradle for the first time for testing. It is recommended to apply a light service and oiling before first use. The super structure is in pristine condition with no breakages.
Close to mint condition but some light storage ageing to the outer box consistent with long-term collection storage. No longer in production — a rare collectible in very good condition. Complete with original packaging and documentation.
To prepare for auction listing, the model was tested with these results and will require attention by buyer to remedy for perhaps frozen connections from long storage causing some malfunction described below :-
- Crane arm movement on bridge forward and reverse operated normally out of the box.
- Crane arm rotation functioned smoothly.
- Crane cabin and arm lights on/off functioned normally.
- Hook raising and lowering no reaction to command.
- Superstructure rolls inconsistently on base platform but roller motors do function in forward and reverse.
- Magnetic pickup not tested.
Digitally operated gantry crane representing a typical portal crane used at industrial sites, harbours and freight loading/unloading facilities. The crane spans multiple tracks and is designed for loading wagons and trucks with bulk and general cargo. This model offers fully motorised crane movements and working lighting, controllable either digitally or with the included control unit.
Model specifications:
