Antique Neo-Gothic/Church Tabernacle – brass – ca. 1890–1910

Very special and richly decorated antique church tabernacle, presumably crafted around 1890–1910.

The tabernacle is made of metal/brass and features fine relief decorations with scroll and leaf motifs. On top there is a striking crown with a cross, ears of corn, and religious ornamentation. The design and opulent decoration are characteristic of ecclesiastical interior work from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The object, due to its age, has a beautiful authentic patina and clear signs of use and aging. These have been deliberately preserved and contribute to its historical character. See the photos for a good impression of the construction and condition.
