Two vintage brass bases / feet with a finial – ca. 1920-1960
Description
Lovely set consisting of two solid brass rectangular bases (feet) with a richly decorated ribbed finish, including one matching loose brass decorative top (finial). The parts are made of heavy cast brass and date from the first half of the 20th century.
Because of their high quality and classic design, these parts are excellent restoration material for antique and vintage objects, such as clock cases, candelabras, fireplace screens, lamps, or other decorative brass items. Also decoratively very attractive as standalone ornaments.
The parts are produced using the traditional sand casting process, which is visible in the fine details and the sturdy construction.

Condition
In good, solid vintage condition with normal signs of wear and a beautiful, authentic patina fitting the age. One of the bases is missing a bolt and nut at the bottom. Otherwise the parts are solid and well usable. The photos are an integral part of the description and give an accurate view of the condition of the lot.
