Refined and rare complete set for serving ice at table and bar (Barware d'Élite) made by the famous French Maison Christofle around the mid-20th century.
The lot stands out for its extraordinary completeness, composed of 4 coordinated antique elements:
Ice bucket / Glacette: Characterized by elegant horizontal grooves both on the upper band and on the base, and equipped with a hinged handle.
Bottle stand / Accompanying underplate: In heavy silver-plated metal with a smooth edge and mirror finish, perfect to receive the ice bucket and protect the table.
Perforated inner draining disc: Original removable element with period geometric perforated motifs, essential to separate the ice from the melting water.
Ice tongs with claw / Pince à Glaçons d'Époque: Splendid vintage accessory shaped like a claw, ideal for a firm grip on the cubes.
In addition to the classic function for ice cubes, the dimensions and line of the bucket make it perfect also as an elegant table glacette for half a bottle (375 ml) of Champagne or sparkling wine for an exclusive tête-à-tête service.
