Design introduced in 1972. The Tripp Trapp was created by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik as an adjustable chair that allows a child to sit at table height. Its height-adjustable seat and footrest support continued use through different stages of growth.
The red lacquered wooden frame remains visually striking, with age-related surface marks, scratches and small areas of finish loss, particularly along the side uprights, seat and footrest.
