Bed sheet (3) - 270 cm - 230 cm - Ancient trousseaus

An essential piece in old dowries, it has come down to us unused and in excellent condition. The sheet is loom-woven linen and is sewn perfectly into three panels, so fine that the stitching is almost invisible. It has perfect hand embroidery in satin stitch and a monogram. Both the sheet and the period pillowcases with true mother-of-pearl buttonholes and buttons feature an appliqué of antique loom-made lace. A filet hem and a large fringe complete this beautiful set. Never used. Was washed long ago and preserved perfectly for decades. It only has slight yellowing on a final part of the lace, which disappears after the first wash.
