AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Buffalo Horns

Stupendous pair of buffalo horns, in excellent preservation, prepared by expert hands and placed on two fine wooden pedestals to highlight their importance and beauty.
They probably date to the Italian colonial era, more likely to the first half of the 20th century, a date that can be inferred from the type of screws used to secure the horns to the pedestal: that type of screw was used up until the 1950s, so the work was probably done earlier.
The horns are in excellent condition, with small signs of wear, virtually insignificant, while the age of the objects becomes more evident in the details of the base; a simple restoration would be possible, but in our opinion it would spoil the charm of antiquity and the lived-in feel.

They will become a beautiful collectible item in a home with a unique flavor.
