Antique Two-Door Walnut Burl Cabinet – Late '800 / Early '900 - Italian artisan craftsmanship, dating from the period between the late 19th century and the early 20th century (Late Umbertine / Louis Philippe Style).
Capacity for storage and sober, monumental aesthetics, ideal for classical settings as well as as a distinctive contrast piece in modern contexts.
CHARACTERISTICS:
* Dimensions: Height 230 cm | Width 153 cm | Depth 52 cm
* Era: End of 19th century / Beginning of 20th century
* Provenance: Italy (Handcrafted production)
* Wood: Solid walnut with burl walnut veneer on the doors, characterized by symmetrically book-matched grain (open book)
* Construction: Double hinged panelled frame with diamond central panels
* Base: Double lower chest of drawers with original-era parallel drawers
* Supports: Front feet turned in onion shape, stable and robust
* Hardware: Original period lock, functional and complete with keys present
* Finish: Traditional spirit wax polish that enhances the warm natural patina of the wood
* Details: Large upper cap with projecting molding and beveled side stiles
