Bust, Chanteurs de Jazz - 18 cm - Plaster

This is a vintage decorative plaster sculpture of a singing jazz quartet. The sculpture shows the busts of four African American singers in tuxedos with a red rose (boutonnière) on the lapel. The faces are highly expressive and open-mouthed, as if they are singing with total devotion.

The piece is sometimes attributed to Delarue Picard from 1985 or compared to jazz quartets such as The Mills Brothers.
