Rectangular wooden frame carved and gilded on gesso, from the 19th century. The frame features rich original gilding, typical of the neoclassical taste between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
The workmanship is handmade and of a cabinet-style form.
On the back you can see the period construction features: dovetail joints, old hardware and a patina consistent with its age. They are typical of the neoclassical taste between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
