The skeleton will be shipped disassembled. Each section (left ribs, right ribs, humerus, etc.) will be packed separately. Each piece will be packed separately and labeled, and a reference diagram will be sent for assembly.
"On November 24, 1974 at Hadar in the Afar Triangle, palaeontologists Yves Coppens, Donald Johanson, Maurice Taïeb and Tom Gray uncovered the remains of a female specimen apparent aged about 18 years of a new species of Australopithecus that lived about 3.2 million years ago (Piacenzian), which was named Australopithecus afarensis. The fossil was given the name Lucy, in honor of the Beatles' song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, while in Amharic it is known as Dinqinesh, which means 'You are marvelous'. Its code name is A.L. 288"
