Description from the seller

An elegant pair of French Art Deco-style ice buckets, crafted from silver-plated brass during the 1960s. Originally silver-plated, both pieces have developed a warm patina over time, with the underlying brass now beautifully visible, giving them an authentic vintage character.

Although different in design, the buckets complement each other perfectly. One features a cylindrical body with decorative ring handles, while the other has a taller tapered form with geometric side handles and finely engraved horizontal bands. Their timeless Art Deco-inspired lines make them equally suitable for serving champagne, displaying floral arrangements, or as refined decorative pieces.

Both buckets have a solid brass construction, substantial weight, and the quality associated with mid-century French barware. They represent the elegant entertaining style of the period and fit effortlessly into both classic and contemporary interiors.

The pair is in very good vintage condition, showing attractive age-related wear and a naturally mellowed finish consistent with their history. The remaining traces of the original silver plating, combined with the exposed brass, create a rich, authentic appearance that collectors appreciate rather than restore.

A decorative and functional pair of original French ice buckets, ideal for collectors of Art Deco barware, interior designers, restaurants, wine cellars, or sophisticated home entertaining.
