A pair of carved oak columns/pedestals, Europe, late 19th/early 20th century, in a historicist taste with Renaissance influence. The shafts are fashioned as fantastical zoomorphic figures, combining a lion’s body with the head of a fantastic animal, set on square molded bases with ball feet. Circular molded top intended to support pots, sculptures, or other decorative elements. Original patina. Dimensions: 117 × 37 × 38 cm.
