Mold - Four grid pastry mold

An old-fashioned conjoined pastry wood mold is formed from a whole piece of hardwood. It has four cavities and four different flower reliefs. It is a highly practical traditional food utensil mold among the people of the Qing Dynasty. There is no splicing in the whole board. The craftsmen manually dug four sets of mold grooves with different contours. The internal flower relief knife work is simple and clumsy, and the lines are clearly layered. Each pattern has a folk auspicious meaning.
Both the front and back sides of the mold are covered with thick natural patina formed by hundreds of years of use, and the back has been hand-polished for a long time. The wood grain is warm and shiny, and the surface is covered with natural fine lines of time. The wood color is interlaced with dark and light colors, showing the aging texture of old wood. There are natural old cracks on the whole, no obvious through-holes, no large-area chipping, and no insect-eaten holes. The four sets of relief patterns are complete and clear, and the dim sum can still be pressed normally.
