Tribute to the CI Wara, hero of Bamana culture.
These sculptures were worn on the head like headdresses during annual ceremonies related to harvests and agricultural work.
These forms alluded to creatures drawn from nature such as antelopes, anteaters, or pangolins.
Fair condition. Old repairs at the base of the horns.

Hommage au CI Wara , héros de la culture Bamana.
Ces sculptures étaient portées sur la tête tel des coiffes lors des cérémonies annuelles en rapport avec les récoltes et le travail agricole.
Ces formes faisaient allusion à des créatures tirées de la nature comme les antilopes, des fourmiliers ou des pangolins.
État correct. Réparations anciennes à la base des cornes.
