Description from the seller
Panoramic Device MLP 135, created by craftsman Lino Muccin of Pordenone. A former employee of the Gatto industries of Pordenone, producers of the famous Sonne device, in retirement he enjoyed designing and building some photographic instruments, including Vestacrom, a 35mm camera conceived as a true Italian Leica. The project aimed at a more efficient construction: very similar to the Sonne C4, which, however, remained at the prototype stage, and the panoramic MLP 135 and MPL 120. These devices also remained at the prototype stage, perhaps only a few specimens per type.
The device presented is the last remaining in the province of Pordenone and therefore an exceptional rarity.
MLP 135 produces a panoramic photo of 220 on a frame of 24x180 mm.
Weight: 2.050 kg. - dimensions: 24x14x12 cm.
Careful and tracked shipment with an international courier.
"The Muccin Panoramic MLP 135 is today a very rare prototype, of great interest to historians and collectors of Italian photographic technology. Its limited artisanal production and the lack of commercialization contribute to giving it an aura of a 'legendary' object for enthusiasts of panoramic cameras".
"The Muccin MLP fits squarely into the exclusive ranks of independent Italian photographic inventions, a symbol of an era when even individual enthusiasts were able to conceive and build technologically advanced equipment, while often remaining on the margins of the market. A unique piece that tells the story of passion, ingenuity, and perseverance in Italian author photography". (from the web)
