Blaupunkt Derby Universal – Working vintage transistor radio – corrosion-free battery compartment

For sale: a beautiful Blaupunkt Derby Universal portable transistor radio from the 1970s.

The radio is in neat, original condition and works well.
M band: no stations, only noise / static
K band reception (a very limited number of stations received)
U band (UKW = FM) excellent reception!
The radio delivers the warm, clear sound Blaupunkt is known for. Only the scale illumination does not work; otherwise the radio functions as intended.
The antenna is intact and nearly straight, the knobs occasionally slip back into the chassis; the knobs themselves are in good condition!

The battery compartment is completely corrosion-free, which is an important advantage for this type. The radio is complete with the original carrying handle and, apart from normal signs of use given its age (55 years old!), is in well-kept condition.
