Beautiful and extremely atmospheric sculptural table lamp from the Art Deco period ( ca. 1920-1930)?
This so-called ‘veilleuse’ ( night lamp) is largely made of high-quality, semi-transparent Italian alabaster.

The lamp rests on a step-shaped alabaster base, equipped with the authentic push-button switch at the front.
When lit, the alabaster spreads a beautiful, warm and diffused ambient light that magnificently brings the stone’s natural textures to life.

In good working order with signs of aging inherent to its age and the material.
