MOM Momikon with leather case | Analogue camera

The MOM Momikon is a rare Hungarian rangefinder camera produced between 1954 and 1956 by MOM (Magyar Optikai Művek – Hungarian Optical Works) in Budapest. It is a 35 mm film camera with a built-in coupled rangefinder and a fixed YMMAR 50mm f/3.5 lens. The Momikon is regarded as one of the earliest Hungarian Leica-inspired cameras and was later succeeded by the Mometta series.

The camera is working technically. The shutter works fine on speeds from 1/50 to 1/500. The B (Bulb) setting and 1/25 are dragging a bit and need adjustment, . The rangefinder works and is clear. The film advance works smoothly, and the lens aperture is fully functional. I think it's definitely worth a shot to load some film and take photos using speeds between 1/50 and 1/500.

The camera is sold with its original leather case designed specifically for this model. It will be carefully packed and shipped securely by courier.
