Fascinating and elegant antique rectangular tablecloth, made with a complex and precious Jacquard weaving. The design combines the geometricity of the classic square motif inspired by country/vintage with the delicacy of a cherry-fruit motif.
Weaving and Design Details:
Jacquard Weave: The decorative motif is not printed, but woven directly on the loom. This creates an elegant play of relief and shine, making the pattern visible and finished on both the front and the back of the fabric.
Decorative Motif: Structure of large red and white squares bounded by a lattice of thin contrasting white lines. Inside each square stands a refined woven detail depicting a sprig with cherries and leaves.
Color Palette: Bright and exciting red paired with pure/optical white, with a strong visual impact.
Finish: Perimeter edge finished with a sewn hem.
