Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Bowl on Display Stand – Possibly Recovered from a Shipwreck – Qing Dynasty (18th Century)
A rare Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, dating to the Qing Dynasty, mounted on a custom-made black metal display stand.
The bowl features hand-painted underglaze cobalt blue decoration and displays extensive marine encrustations, shell deposits, and natural calcareous growth, indicating prolonged submersion at sea. These authentic marine deposits give the piece a unique archaeological appearance and make it an attractive collector’s object.
