Splendid tapestry or brocade centerpiece or lampas woven on a Jacquard loom, featuring a refined classic floral motif and glossy details. This type of craftsmanship is typical of fine furnishing fabrics and traditional historic attire. Features of the fabric’s Right Side: It presents a cream or pale-cream background with delicate floral tracery rich in shades of pink, blue, green, and gold thread. Back of the fabric: Clearly highlights the complex Jacquard weave construction. The colored threads organize into multicolored, iridescent bands (pink, gold, green), a classic technique that allows the designs on the right side to be created without leaving long, loose threads on the back.
