Description from the seller
Wuliangye 1618 / 52% / 50cl
This is Wuliangye 1618, an ultra-premium baijiu and one of the most revered spirits in China.
This is a classic "strong aroma" baijiu, a style renowned for its powerful and complex profile. It is crafted in Yibin, Sichuan, using a traditional formula of five select grains: sorghum, rice, glutinous rice, wheat, and corn.
Wuliangye 1618 is celebrated for its exceptional smoothness and rich, layered taste.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: An aromatic and complex bouquet with notes of pineapple, ripe mango, apricot, and white pepper, with a hint of vanilla.
Palate: A powerful, smooth, and sweet entry with notes of pink peppercorns, sweet fruits, and soft herbs. Develops into a creamy, full-bodied spirit with a long, lingering finish.
The rarest of the Baijiu family.
Nose: Rich and fruity aromatic tones at the forefront of the nose, hints of pineapple and ripe mango, apricot and white pepper, some citrus aromas are quite noticeable, vanilla balances things out in an incredibly complex nose.
Palate: Some spicy notes, some sweet fruits, pink peppercorns, soft herbaceous notes with rich citrus before leveling off with softer tones, some creamy notes, and a persistent aftertaste.
