Elegant antique dining service crafted in fine German porcelain from the renowned Heinrich manufacturing (Villeroy & Boch Group). The service stands out for its slender, elegant silhouette, accented by a vivid outer band in red-purple/burgundy, enclosed and finished with gilded friezes and details in brilliant gold. The handles of the soup tureen, gravy boat, and cups feature harmonious shapes with rich contrasting gilding. Brand History
Founded in Selb in 1896 by Franz Heinrich, the Heinrich manufactory has historically been one of the pioneering luxury porcelain companies in Germany. Acquired in 1976 by the renowned Villeroy & Boch group, Heinrich has always maintained an exceptionally high standard in porcelain clarity and in the richness of gold and enamel decorations, becoming synonymous with elegance and enduring durability.
Condition
The service is in generally good vintage condition, with the following details disclosed for full transparency:
* The porcelain and colors retain a splendid overall brilliance.
* Gold trim: Some pieces show the gold edge slightly faded along the rim due to use and time.
* Minor imperfections: There is 1 chip on a flat plate and 1 chip on a soup plate. The rest of the service, including the special pieces and tureens, is intact and in excellent condition.
