Description from the seller

Atmospheric and authentic mechanical fireplace mantel clock (model 'Napoleon hat') from the Art Deco period. The clock case has a beautiful, deep red-brown front with a marble/tortoiseshell pattern and finely carved wooden side wings with a diamond pattern. The high-quality brass movement features a three-tone bim-bam strike on chimes (gong block) and bears the serial number 485571 (with pendulum-length indication 14). The original pendulum lens shows the characteristic crazing/age marks, see photo). The striking mechanism is intact, the movement currently does not run. Housing: In neat, complete vintage condition with light signs of aging that suit its age. Completeness: Supplied including a winding key.
