Elegant vintage Rococo-style wine table / side table with floral inlay (marquetry) – walnut wood – Portugal/France – c. 1960s/1970s

A very elegant and decorative wine table (also perfectly suitable as a side table) executed in the classic and charming Rococo style.
This piece of furniture was manufactured in the third quarter of the 20th century (c. 1960-1970) and is presumably of Portuguese or French origin.
The absolute centerpiece of the table is the beautifully chamfered, undulating tabletop.
This top is finished with high-quality walnut veneer and features a refined, hand-inlaid floral motif (marquetry/intarsia) in contrasting wood tones.
The top rests on a sturdy, nicely turned wooden baluster leg which tapers into an elegant three-sided claw foot.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and the rich, warm appearance of the wood, this little table fits effortlessly into any interior.
