Devotional cross - 18th century, in white metal, handmade, finely chiselled and engraved.
The obverse shows a crucified Christ beneath the INRI cartouche.
At the foot of the Cross is a representation of Saint Mary Magdalene, recognizable by her contemplative attitude and the small cross she holds in her hands.
The reverse is entirely decorated with symbols of the Passion of Christ and engraved Christian emblems, among which the fish (Ichthys) and various instruments of the Passion. The whole shows a beautiful old patina as well as the normal signs of use for a piece from that era.
No hallmark visible.
Good condition with some old wear, original bail.
