BF121U radio receiver from 1953, in very good physical condition and tested and working, weighing 3 kg with dimensions 240 mm W × 150 mm H × 130 mm D.
Description from the seller
Charmant Frans (night) table radio set (1953-1955), fully restored and ready for everyday listening pleasure.
The Bakelite cabinet was deeply cleaned and protected with clear high-gloss lacquer (maintenance-free).
The speaker grille/panel window shows very light opacity due to age.
Because of irreparable defects in the original AM section, the unit was rebuilt into a 3-watt tube amplifier, driven by either:
- A solid-state FM tuner with very good reception via whip antenna (87-108 MHz);
- A Bluetooth receiver (not HiFi);
All resistors, capacitors and semiconductors are new.
Given that this is a mains-powered unit, there are no external input/output jacks.
Scale illumination with LED-E10-6V.
Vacuum tubes: UY82-UL84(new)-UBC41-UC(H)42 (testing +90%).
