Description
A fully original Land Rover Series I 86-inch from 1955. This is a remarkable specimen with verifiable history and a unique provenance. The vehicle was used for years by the fire brigade, then became part of the Whitewebbs Museum collection in England, and was later selected for the Land Rover Jubilee at Balmoral Castle, where it was proclaimed the favorite vehicle of Queen Elizabeth II.
This is not a restored or modified Series I, but a fair and original Land Rover that has stood the test of time. It is precisely the originality that makes this example interesting to collectors and enthusiasts.
Body and paint
The body is in original condition and has a beautiful, authentic appearance that suits the age of the vehicle. The paint shows normal signs of use appropriate for a 71-year-old classic. The car has not been over-restored or modified.
