Ferrania Galileo Analogue camera

The camera in the photo is a Ferrania Galileo, an Italian 35 mm film compact produced in the 1950s. Built with a sturdy metal body and a leatherette cover, it represents one of the examples of Italian photographic production in the postwar era. It is equipped with an Officine Galileo Aplon lens mounted on a Terog shutter, a combination that offered good performance for amateur photography of the time. All adjustments are manual: shutter speeds, aperture and focus are set directly by the user, allowing full control of exposure. Its compact size and solid construction made it ideal as a travel camera. In the photo is also the original leather case branded Ferrania Galileo, an accessory that increases the collectibility of the lot.
