Description from the seller

The camera in the photo is a Ferrania Galileo, an Italian 35 mm film compact produced in the 1950s. Built with a sturdy metal body and a leatherette cover, it represents one of the examples of Italian photographic production in the postwar era. It is equipped with an Officine Galileo Aplon lens mounted on a Terog shutter, a combination that offered good performance for amateur photography of the time. All adjustments are manual: shutter speeds, aperture and focus are set directly by the user, allowing full control of exposure. Its compact size and solid construction made it ideal as a travel camera. In the photo is also the original leather case branded Ferrania Galileo, an accessory that increases the collectibility of the lot. Today these cameras are sought after mainly by vintage photography enthusiasts and collectors of Italian equipment.
