Description from the seller
this Sony PS-1700 belt-driven turntable. This 1976 model comes from the era when Sony was known for its uncompromising build quality and use of high-grade materials. The PS-1700 is a semi-automatic turntable, meaning the tonearm automatically returns to the tonearm rest at the end of the record and the motor stops. This prevents unnecessary wear on your needle. The player has a very elegant vintage appearance thanks to the beautiful wooden cabinet, combined with a robust cast aluminum chassis and metal controls. The turntable is equipped with a highly sensitive, statically balanced tonearm with precise lateral balance compensation (anti-skating). This provides low distortion and a very stable, warm analog soundscape. Thanks to the ultralow-noise synchronous motor and belt drive, this player operates remarkably quietly and is resistant to motor vibrations. Has light signs of use, see the photos.
Shipped carefully packaged and insured.
