Three Art Deco tulip-shaped glass lamp shades by Verrerie des Hanots (France, Les Andelys, Eure), pressed and cast colourless satin exterior with a glossy interior, dating to circa 1920–1930, about 16 cm high, 13 cm wide at the base, 3 cm at the top, total weight around 1485 g, in good used condition with minor manufacturing imperfections and not in working order.
Description from the seller
Art Deco tulip-shaped lamp shades. Set of three pressed, cast and on the outside partially matt glass tulip-shaped lamp shades. Inside is clear and glossy.
Manufacturer/edition: Verrerie des Hanots (Holophane)
France - Les Andelys (dep. Eure),
Material: pressed glass – ground? – colorless satin and shiny.
Dimensions:
Height approx: 16 cm
Bottom diameter approx: 13 cm - outside
Top diameter approx: 3 cm
Total weight approx: 1485 grams
Color: colorless
Marked with pressed on the lower rim: Hanots France
Dating: 1920-1930
Condition: Good used condition. As a manufacturing flaw sometimes an air bubble (see photo) and at the bottom near the name France (see photo) a very small ‘mouse bite’. (not bothersome or noticeable) The metal on the lamps has not been removed because it could serve as an example for renewed processing for lamp or chandelier.
Personal:
Photographing colorless glass is difficult to give an objective image. I have done my best to give you as good an impression as possible of these three rare lamp shades.
