In 1931 Friedrich Caesar opened his goldsmith shop at Bahnhofstr. 1. A few years later the shop moved to Rathausstraße 42 – which to this day is the home base of the goldsmith. Friedrich Caesar shaped the first decades with passion and precision, until his son Fred Caesar took over the business in 1977. Under his leadership the workshop continued to grow and became a fixture in Winsen (Luhe).
He was also one of the first German smiths to develop a stronger bonding of different materials for longer-lasting and sharper steel table knives.
