Description from the seller

Pair of Louis XV-style nightstands—Transition period, handcrafted in continental Europe in the early to mid-20th century (circa 1920–1930).

The nightstands feature a four-part geometric veneer in rosewood. Dark trim frames the panels, with a contoured top surface entirely veneered and featuring an openwork brass railing.

The legs and sides are adorned with female friezes and masks, carefully polished and treated with non-chemical products. The legs feature the arched design typical of the style.

The nightstands each have a small drawer and a small lower shelf, which is also veneered and finished with elaborate molding.

The pieces are in good condition. Note the color fading on one of them (see photo) and the absence of a few small pieces of burl wood, which attests to the item’s authenticity.

Dimensions: height 71 cm, width 44 cm, depth 38 cm.
