Picture clock - Antique Wood, Brass - 1850-1900

From the estate of a deceased clockmaker, a large Black Forest painting clock with a painting behind glass on the dial. The clock runs well and has a gong strike. On the dial is an image of a hunting scene with two hunters and a dog by a deer; there is no paint loss or damage to the painting. The clock is considerably larger than an average painted clock, the height of the clock is 35.5 cm and the width is 20.5 cm. The accompanying brass weights are quite dented.
