LEGO Spring Festival Moving Lantern (80116) is a building and playset with a colorful glowing model that lets your family celebrate the Year of the Snake. This display model is a great gift for children aged 9 and up. You only need to press the rotating central pillar down to activate the LEGO light brick. 2 different shadow-casting window panes are available for different light effects.
The lantern is also meant to inspire imaginative role play for your child. The “roof” of the lantern can be removed to better play in the (also detachable) “upper floor.” When you unfold this upper level, three festive scenes with a buildable food stall, a decoration stall, and a shadow theater come to light. And 5 Minifigures – 2 adults, 2 children, and a figure in a Year-of-the-Snake costume – invite plenty of role play.
This collectible can be wonderfully built alone or together with the family. The model nicely complements other separately available LEGO Spring Festival playsets.
