Technofix - Tin toy - Coney Island - 1960-1970 - Germany

This vintage mechanical toy from the famous West German brand Technofix faithfully reproduces the Coney Island roller coaster circuit under reference 307. Manufactured during the 1960s, this model combines a brightly colored vacuum-formed plastic base with lithographed tinplate tracks and scenery that capture the amusement park aesthetics of the era. The complete set weighs one kilogram and features dimensions of 55 centimeters in length by 39 centimeters in width with a height of 10 centimeters, all housed in its beautifully illustrated original cardboard box which has been well preserved. The lot is in very good overall condition. The two included small tin cars are fully functional and tested, with their internal clockwork mechanisms responding correctly, though the toy is sold without its original wind-up key. A beautiful collector's item from the golden age of mechanical tin toys, perfect for enhancing a themed display window or rediscovering the dynamic motion of mid-century track games.
