Alessi kettle model 9091 designed by Richard Sapper, Italian design from 1983, made of brass and stainless steel with a black plastic handle, suitable for all cooktops including induction, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
The 9091 Alessi kettle, designed by Richard Sapper for Alessi, in 1983, is the first designer kettle from Piedmont-based company and a true icon of international design.
Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood memory tied to the sounds of the Reno River. The aim was to eliminate the anxious noise of traditional kettles, transforming it into a pleasant multisensory experience. Today the 9091 model is exhibited in the world’s most important museums, including the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the Museo Omero.
The kettle is made of brass, composed of two sound tubes that produce a precise melody with the notes "Mi" and "Si" when the water reaches boiling, replacing the classic shrill whistle.
The bulbous body is made of polished 18/10 stainless steel, while the contoured handle is in heat-shrink black plastic. The steel base is suitable for all cooking surfaces, including induction hobs, guaranteeing rapid heat diffusion.
In good to excellent condition, used with signs of wear from time and use.
The product will be adequately packed and shipped within 48 hours.
