Here is a sample from a collection published in 2004 by Marsu by Franquin and featuring Gaston Lagaffe's inventions in the form of figurines.
The theme of the four pieces offered in this lot revolves around Gaston's absurd means of locomotion:
- Gaston's miniature radio-controlled checkered taxi, which is going to cause quite a mess in the editorial office when it escapes from its inventor!
- The motorized propeller for a skater, one of the most dangerous devices invented by Gaston, because when the engine revs up... It’s a carnage at Dupuis’ headquarters!!
- The battery-powered skates may seem harmless at first glance, but beware: as soon as a misstep is made, or worse... a short circuit with the batteries could seriously ignite a powder keg within the management team!!!!
- The hand towel is thankfully much calmer and ideal for sleeping in the toilets, unseen and unheard... or almost, when the boss arrives to find that Gaston isn’t working at the same pace as the others!
The figurines are offered in their original packaging, leaving them in mint condition since they have never been unboxed or displayed.
