One of the most iconic legends of analog audio.
I am offering for sale this magnificent Technics RS-1506US (4-track version), produced during the golden age of Japanese Hi-Fi (circa 1977-1980). This model is famous for its unique direct-drive, quartz-controlled "Isolated Loop" tape transport system, delivering exceptional rotational stability.
Condition and Revision:
The unit has undergone a complete overhaul by a professional. It is aesthetically superb (see high-resolution photos) and fully functional for playback as well as recording.
Important technical note (Brakes):
For full transparency, I should note that when stopping after a fast rewind/fast forward (advancing or returning), the braking lacks a touch of bite, creating a small "mush" in the tape before it comes to a halt. This is a minor point that does not affect sound quality or everyday use, but a simple tension adjustment can be performed by the future owner for absolute perfection.

NAB adapters: A high-quality pair of adapters (Revox-style) for 26.5 cm reels.
Metal reels: Two legendary 10.5" (26.5 cm) reels included: one Maxell and one Akai.
Tapes: The reels contain magnetic tapes. Note: The recordings on these tapes were not made on this Technics, so listening quality may vary depending on the original alignment. However, recording tests conducted on this machine after refurbishment were excellent.
