Baroque silver and vermeil ostensorium from France, dating 1800–1850, with a solid silver upper part (about 250 g) and a lower silvered section, gross weight 1.1 kg, dimensions 48 cm high by 23 cm wide by 10 cm deep, in good condition with wear and age stains, partly detachable for travel, and requiring restoration, with missing lunette and rays blades.
