Plastoy - Gaston - 5x figurines - 2004

The theme of the 5 pieces offered in this lot revolves around the wacky inventions Gaston developed to treat subjects that appear in the albums of this Franquin character:

- The bowling cup-and-ball, which consists of a bowling ball and a broom enabling one to unblock toilets ........... Playing with this invention is a guaranteed brain-teaser or a potential skull fracture!!!

- The disc brake is the very type of useless invention, since this brake only serves to stop the music on an old gramophone !!!! Very useful only to abruptly stop musical duds!

- The mouse armor is, on the other hand, more useful for small rodents that might interest Gaston’s cat (the Crazy Cat): it is well known that Lagaffe is the true model of protector of all animals and this invention is proof of that!

- The central heating, which is Gaston’s overcoat with internal pipes and channels where one simply pours a large amount of infusion or any very hot water coming from a kettle ........... It’s a hit with controls that fall like flies at the Dupuis Management!!

- The coffee radiator is perhaps one of the simplest inventions for Gaston to implement, but it is not as harmless as it seems because the goal is to spend his day drinking coffee discreetly without alerting the Management !!!!

The resin figurines are offered in their original packaging, which has kept them in mint condition since they were never unpacked or displayed.
