Lego set 872 from 1978 is an add-on box for the Lego built-in motor "Technic" no. 870. Brand-new chain links and 2 reduction gears which can be connected directly to the shaft of the built-in motor. On the box are shown some of the many applications.

The box has been damaged by a few moves and only the lid and the information flap are open; the compartment with Lego is sealed and unused.

Lego set 872 uit 1978 is een aanvullingsdoos voor de Lego inbouwmotor "Techniek" nr.870.
Geheel nieuwe kettingschakels en 2 vertragingskasten welke direct op de as van de inbouwmotor kunnen worden aangesloten. 
Op de doos enkele van de vele toepassingen.

De doos is beschadigd door enkele verhuizingen en alleen de deksel en het informatieklepje zijn open, het compartiment met Lego is verzegeld en ongebruikt.
