Coffee Machine – S.I.M.E.R.A.C. Milano – Art Deco / Steam Pressure (Dampfdruck, Steam Pressure) – Italian – c. 1930–1940

Description:
Exceptionally rare and highly decorative electric steam-pressure coffee machine from the renowned Italian manufacturer S.I.M.E.R.A.C. (Società Industriale Materiale Elettrico) of Milan. A true masterpiece of Italian Art Deco design from the 1930s to 1940s.

Features & Details:
Manufacturer: S.I.M.E.R.A.C. Milano (Original enamel sign/brass sign present)
Material: Nickel-plated brass, Bakelite handles
Technology: Electric steam-pressure brewing mechanism. On the side valves, preparation can be controlled flexibly (2 or 4 cups).
Design: Characteristic era styling with artistically worked feet and integrated spill tray.
Reference: This rare model is extensively documented in the reference work “Coffee Makers” (pp. 516, fig. 1187/1188) and is a sought-after collector’s item for enthusiasts of historic espresso machines.

Condition:
Very good visual original condition with attractive aging patina. The metal surfaces show light signs of use and aging that emphasize the authentic character.

Note: The device is offered as a historic collector’s and decorative object. The electrical function has not been tested against modern safety standards.
