Antique solid oak plant/side table from the Netherlands, dating to ca. 1910–1930, in Art Nouveau style.
Description from the seller
Beautiful oak plant stand / side table – Netherlands – approx. 1910-1930 – Art Nouveau influences
This elegant oak plant stand is a stylish piece of Dutch origin. The slender, tapered legs, the subtly formed decorative moldings under the top, and the openwork sides with vertical slats give the table a refined and airy appearance. The design nicely matches the late Art Nouveau period and the early interwar years.
The table features two practical levels, making it not only decorative but also versatile in use. Of course it is ideal as a plant stand, but also as a stylish side table next to a armchair or sofa, for a vase, figurine, table lamp, or other decorative accessories. Thanks to its slender size, it fits beautifully in a hallway, conservatory, living room, or bedroom and immediately adds warmth and character to both a classic and a modern interior.
Crafted from solid oak with a warm honey-brown to medium-brown color and a beautiful natural wood grain. The table is in nice vintage condition with normal light signs of use consistent with its age.
